
Anchovies from Getaria

They will leave an indelible memory of the picturesque village of Getaria, its sea and its gastronomy.
A product full of tradition and quality, carefully prepared by hand, following the customs of more than a century ago. To do this, we select the best "seasonal anchovies" caught at the optimum time in the Bay of Biscay by Getaria's boats.
These anchovy fillets from the Cantabrian Sea are also available marinated in vinegar and preserved in vegetable oil, also known as "boquerones in vinegar". These products are made in our workshop in the port of Getaria. Being only a few metres from the fish market allows us to work with extremely fresh products, as shown by the exclusive whiteness and texture of the anchovies.
MAISOR anchovies in olive oil or marinated in vinegar, being semi-preserved, should be kept between 2 and 6 degrees (anchovies marinated in vinegar) and between 5 and 15 degrees (anchovies in olive oil) to enjoy their best characteristics.
