Cabernet Franc (60%). Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Tannat (30%).Age of the vines: 30 years
DEVELOPMENT
Manual harvesting. Total de-stemming. Vinification in vats by grape variety and separate plots. Vatting time of 13 to 20 days. Aged in barrels, 20% of which are new wood, for 12 months.
LAND
The soil is composed of micaceous sandstone from the Triassic period.
SITUATION
The BRANA estate covers 20 hectares in the municipalities of Ispoure, Bussunaritz and Lecumbery. 70% of the vineyard is planted on narrow terraces on slopes with an average gradient of 65°.
