SPECIFICATIONS
The OHITZA d'Irouleguy wine is made from Tannat 50%, Cabernet Franc 30%, Cabernet-Sauvignon 20%.
DEVELOPMENT
Manual harvesting. Total de-stemming. Fermentation at 28°C. Vatting time of 15 to 20 days. Aged in wine barrels for 12 months.
LAND
The soil is composed of micaceous sandstone from the Triassic period.
SITUATION
The Brana estate covers 20 hectares in the municipalities of Ispoure, Bussunaritz and Lecumberry. 70% of the vineyard is planted on narrow terraces on slopes with an average gradient of 65%.
